The Royal EnfieldUpper Mustang Tour is one of the most unique and adventurous tours in the Upper Mustang region.

You will encounter all kinds of terrain along the way and discover new tribes. The trek will take you from Pokhara to Muktinath to Lomanthang, which will mean marveling at panoramic views of the glorious mountains, valleys, monasteries and villages. The tour simply attempts to capture the beauty of exploring and discovering the hidden treasures while also taking you to the less visited corners of the Mustang region.

A route will be laid out through the Upper Mustang region and will take you on paths that have never been traversed by man or woman on a motorcycle. The Royal Enfield Upper Mustang Tour will take you through an eroded lunar landscape of sandstone and moraine terraces. We begin the journey towards Pokhara where we arrive on the third day and the next day we will drive to Tatopani.

Tatopani means hot water or hot springs, a name derived from the hot springs that bubble up in the Kali Gandaki valley. We will then visit Muktinath, one of the highlights of our tour via Jomsom. The Muktinath Temple is one of the most historic temples, and the destination of Hindus, Buddhists and pilgrims in Nepal. We will then move towards Lomanthang via Kagbeni and Ghami. The thousand-year-old monastery, city wall and four-storey palace are located in Lomanthang which we can explore on our own. There are caves, local tribes and stunning views of mountains like Nilgiri, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri which make the journey to Lomanthanga even more attractive. The route passes through diverse topography like the world’s deepest gorge in Kali Gandaki and the highest regions on the planet, the Lo-Manthang Valley.

Now that the end of our tour is approaching, we will head back to Pokhara via Kagbeni and Tatopani, and then return to Kathmandu.
