Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour
Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is a fast-paced experience that will take you to the Himalayas in a short period of time. At Outshine Adventure, we are delighted to offer you our professionally designed Everest Base Camp tour, an ideal choice for those short on time and looking to admire the stunning beauty of the great Himalayas.
During the EBC Helicopter Tour, you will have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountains. A flight of a few hours from Kathmandu will take you into the lap of the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest (8,848 m). You have two options for landing: at Everest Base Camp or at Kala Patthar. Both places offer spectacular views of Everest and several other snow-capped peaks.
The flight will not only provide you with stunning views of the Himalayan Mountains, but you will also get to see glaciers, dense alpine forests, rivers, streams, terraced fields and small scattered settlements. While the Everest Base Camp trek gives you ample time to experience the Khumbu region and immerse yourself in the local way of life, the Helicopter Tour gives you a different and exciting perspective of the region, making it an unforgettable experience.
The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour starts from Kathmandu Airport and will take you through spectacular scenery from the start to the end of the trip. We offer window seats for 2, 3, 4 or up to 6 people, so you can enjoy the views throughout the tour. You will stop at Lukla for refreshments, where you will have your first view of Everest and the rich Sherpa culture. Here you will be able to observe the daily lifestyle, culture and traditions of the locals.
After spending some time in Lukla, you will fly to the Khumbu Valley and land at Everest Base Camp or Kala Patthar. From there, you will have panoramic views of Mount Everest (8,848 m), Mount Lhotse (8,516 m), Mount Nuptse (7,861 m), Mount Makalu (8,481 m), Mount Shishapangma (8,013 m), Mount Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mount Pumori (7,161 m), Island Peak (6,189 m), Mount Ama Dablam (6,812 m), and several other mountains, plus impressive Khumbu Icefalls and numerous glaciers.
On the way back, you will land at Tengboche village where you can visit the oldest and largest monastery in the entire Everest region, Tengboche Monastery. From the monastery, you will enjoy an amazing landscape and you will be able to see some ancient manuscripts, statues and paintings.
After your visit to Tengboche, you will fly back to Kathmandu airport where your luxury Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour will conclude. Please feel free to contact us for the tour cost or any other additional information.
